Jane has launched a new e-learning platform through her business School of Booze.  The concise and convenient courses cover essential introductory knowledge to Beer, Cider & Wine that suits anyone keen to know more about their favourite drink. There are three levels of learning – Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.  When learners pass the online multi-choice examination  they earn a digital certificate.  Depending on the level of learning that is:  Officer of Booze Enlightenment (OBE); Master of Booze Enlightenment (MBE), Chief of Booze Enlightenment (CBE). Learners can take the courses when and where they want – Your Device, Your Place, Your Pace. Claim your superpower!  

Jane Peyton is awarded a Lifetime Achievement For Her Work In Beer

Jane Peyton was awarded a Lifetime Achievement In Beer Award from Britain’s MPs & Peers in the All Party Parliamentary Beer Group at the annual awards dinner July 10th 2018.

According to Mike Wood, MP, Chairman of the  All Party Parliamentary Beer Group the Lifetime Achievement is award is for people in the industry who have done something remarkable over and above the day job.   Jane won for instigating and establishing Beer Day Britain (the UK’s national beer day) and for her non-stop advocacy for beer.

Jane Peyton Becomes Britain’s First Accredited Pommelier (Cider Sommelier)

Jane Peyton was accredited by the Beer & Cider Academy as Britain’s first Pommelier (Cider Sommelier) on September 25th 2018.  The Pommelier accreditation consists of sitting and passing a series of courses and exams, being able to blind taste and identify different styles of cider and perry, ability to identify and describe production faults in cider and perry, compiling a cider & food gustation menu, and displaying on-going advocacy for cider.   Gabe Cook, the Ciderologist conceived, wrote, teaches and accredits the Pommelier scheme.

On March 15th 2016 Jane Peyton hosted a Guinness World Record attempt for the World’s Largest Group of People in a Tutored Beer Tasting.  This took place in London, UK at the Publican’s Awards Dinner when Jane led 1,236 people in a tutored beer tasting and together they broke the world record. June 15th is Beer Day Britain

Save the Date!  June 15th is Beer Day Britain – national beer day.  The idea of Beer Day Britain is for people to drink beer, ideally in the pub, and celebrate the national drink.  Join in the National Cheers to Beer at 7pm and help us trend on Twitter with the hashtag #CheersToBeer.
